We offer innovative architecture solutions, integrated designs achieved through rapid prototyping and customized model computation. The craft techniques involved in our process are 3dprinting, 6axis robotic manufacturing with custom made end effectors laser cutting and CNC cutting. 
Concerning the computational part we script in different languages custom made parametric systems, plug-ins and file to factory routines. Our expertise goes from programming, informed 3dmodeling to visualizations.

3d printing

We use 3dprinting mostly for prototyping parts of the design with our DIY 3dprinter. We have at our disposal three different kind of printers:

Printer Technology:
FFF fused filament fabrication
40 cm x 40 cm x 40cm
21 cm x 20cm x 17cm
21 cm x 20cm x 65 cm
80 micron (0.08mm / 0.00315”) to 360 micron (0.36mm / 0.01417”) layer thickness. Note you should set layer heights in 40 micron increments for best results (ie. 0.08mm, 0.12mm, 0.16mm)

Hot wire cutting

The hot wire cutting technique allow to cut EPS foam in complex 3dimensional geometries. The hot wire cutting tool is mounted on the 6axis ABB robotic arm or Fanuc.

6/7 axis Robotic milling

The robotic milling technique allows to mill any kind of shape. The materials possible to mill are wood, EPSfoam, PUR and aluminum. We have our own robotic routines to traslate the digital model from the 3d environment into a physical object.

CNC cutting

CNC cutting includes different technologies at our disposal like lasercutting, waterjetcutting and 3axis milling. Those techniques are chosen depending on the kind of material to process or the specific design purpose of the project. Water jet cutting is the most suitable for architectural purposes due to his versatility, this technique is able to cut any materials and thickness.
